What is SuperAwesome?
An anti-social network — the world's ugliest social media website, on purpose. No algorithm, no ads, no infinite doomscroll. Just you, your people, and some deeply cursed design.
Is it free?
Yep. Creating an account and using the site is free. If we ever add paid extras, we'll say so clearly before anything costs money.
Why does it look like that?
Because "clean and minimal" is everywhere and it's boring. SuperAwesome leans into 1999-era web energy — bright, loud, and unapologetically ugly. It's a feature, not a bug.
Is my data safe? Do you sell it?
We collect the minimum needed to run your account, we don't sell your data, and we don't run ads. Passwords are hashed, uploads have location/EXIF metadata stripped, and direct messages are encrypted at rest. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Do you use cookies or analytics?
An essential session cookie keeps you logged in, and we use privacy-conscious analytics (Google Analytics) to understand basic traffic. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.
How do I delete my account?
Head to your account settings and choose delete. This removes your profile and content from the Service. If you can't find it, email us and we'll take care of it.
